So I Tweaked my lower back about 2 weeks ago and it Hasn't gotten any better.

I have been a seasoned lifter for about 6 years 4 of them I have worked out pretty hard. This is my first little injury due to lifting (hopefully little) I am 20 years old .
Do You guys have any suggestions on how I can nurse it back to health with out going to a doctor or chiropractor!?

2 weeks and it hasn't improved? Doctor.

Injury threads - if you are asking for diagnosis first fill out this questionaire: Have you gone to see a doctor? If not, do it. Are you following his advice? If not, do it. Can you do the exercise lighter without pain? if so, do it. if not, don't do the exercise. In short, don't do any exercise that causes sharp pain in your joints (not to be confused feeling the burn, which is muscular), and see a doctor about any inhibiting injury.

Rest.

there's a good reason these threads find their way into the fobidden topics sticky: we don't know what's wrong with you. Without a doctor visit and diagnosis, all we can tell you is rest, do things that make it feel better (light stretching, traction, heat), and don't do anything that aggravate it.

Without knowing what's wrong, what are you hoping to gain from this thread?

I'm hoping to learn something I don't know already. But thanks any ways I'm gonna go to the doctor.
