When Ronda was undefeated and beating everyone in 13 seconds; those days were filled with Honda nuthuggers that believed she would beat Mayeather, Cyborg, Dillashaw, and Cain under the right circumstances. People bought into the once ever idea (huge Ppv star), and Ronda was in every movie and tv show out there. Those were the good ol days when Sherdog was more fun. Who else's misses Honda is the Mike Tyson of mma days?

Love her or hate her she always put on a show. Too bad were stuck with wmma forever now because of her.

Ronda is the reason why we have WMMA in the UFC. She is arguably the worst thing to happen to the sport besides the Reebok deal and the money fight era.

I once boarded a plane in LAX and waited for the rest of the passengers to get on. I see Ronda Rousey walk on with Travis Browne. She took the seat right behind me but when she was putting her bag in the overhead she farted right in my face.

Sherdog was more entertaining back then, for sure. I get it, TS.

Tbh she was responsible for a buzz that was great sometimes. She got some of my friends and even their girlfriends/wives to watch some mma in a way no other fighter has. Once we were watching at a casino in northern California and there must have been thousands of people partying and into it and the place went completely fucking berserk when she won. I don't miss her but the times were good.

I miss her too.

Fuck no. That was the worst period in MMA for me. Everyone, even knowledgeable people were acting like this pudgy girl could beat lifetime, larger, male athletes. It was fucking insane. And people like Joe Rogan should know better than to say she could take out Cain fucking Velasquez. I felt like the only sane person on earth back then.
Holly Holms (another lifetime martial artist) kicking her face in was a total "The Emperor's New Clothes" moment for me and (eventually) sherdog.

edit: let's not forget, video of her getting absolutely wrecked in grappling (her strength) by guys like Mousasi STILL didn't fucking open the eyes of the mma fanbase. As if women, unlike in EVERY OTHER SPORT, are somehow better than men in fighting, of all fucking things. It was like saying that the top WNBA star could beat Lebron James 1vs1 and more than 50% of the NBA fans and commentators would agree. Complete insanity.

Rousey piqued my interest in mma. The present & future is more exciting for me. Sartre said nostalgia is a form of depression. He was sort of a troll.

How were THEY able to sell US that she can strike? Let me just ask that?

I miss hatinng on her........ the Hate was more wholesome when she wasnt as payhetic as she is now.

Still thanks to Queen Holly and the Lioness I have two gifs that still get me hard.
