If anyone hasn't seen it, there's a documentary that's only about 40 minutes long about the life and work of John Cazale, better known as Fredo Corleone, and maybe the most under-recognized actor of all time.

    Here's a brief sample...

And here is some unused extra footage from the interview with Al Pacino about working with and knowing John Cazale...

It's a well-invested 40 minutes if anyone wants to check it out.

Wow, Meryll Streep and AL Pacino look exactly alike.

    Such a loss.

He would have been in like every Martin Scorsese movie too.

Joe Pesci might never have had the chance to get his foot in the door.

I was thinking that, but then I was thinking what if there is a whole other Cazale energy that could have existed and fit smoothly into all of those movies, not even replacing anybody but just adding to it. And then I got sad.

In the infinity of multiverses, we are currently in the shitty, barely-any-Cazale universe.

There's a better world where all of the movies you're thinking about had both John Cazale and Joe Spinell.

In an extra cruel twist of God's sick humor, the tradeoff we got in this universe for giving up John Cazale, was the female Ghostbusters.

Barzini's men shoot Vito Corelone while he is shopping for fruit at the side of the road.

    John Cazale: "Oh hell naw."

Thanks. I've never seen this, but it's right up my alley.
