I didnt watched when it happened because i dont really care about them at the time but after i keep hearing about it i had to watch it....And i dont see a robbery... RD 1,2 for Song Yadong...Marlon did walk him down but vera just got hit over and over, i give marlon the 3rd round for the take downs but vera ate a lot of punches.

I don't remember this fight as it wasn't that good and I'm not a fan of either, but Cheetos thought that he won the Aldo fight as well (according to his reaction to a verdict), so no surprise here...

Sherdog typically overrates headhunters, even when they aren’t landing clean. That said, I only remember this fight being really close, not well enough to argue the result.

I think at the time I thought Vera won, but it was a very close fight and I wasn't shocked it went the other way.

Not a robbery imo.

And Aldo thought he beat Volkanovski.

What is that have to do with Cheetos?
And if you're talking about Volk fight it was a boring ass fight which IMHO was supposed to be a draw.

I had it for Chichita, but it was close. I was biased, I don't like Yadong.

Chito is a spoiled sore loser, he feels entitled because he is Ecuadors only mma fighter in the spotlight. That'll change soon.

A true martial artist would display more humility than that, especially considering he hasn't conquered any important milestone sin his career so far. His best accomplishment is beating a frail malnourished and brittle Sean o malo.

It was a typical close fight that people call a robbery just because some of them had it for the guy who didn't win. Not a robbery at all. I just ignore the kind of MMA fan that call fights like that a robbery (which is most of them unfortunately)

Putting this particular fight aside - It should be possible to win a competitive 29-28 without having to worry about judging. I’m not talking about fights that truly are ‘too close to call’ - I’m talking about clear cut 2-1s, of which there are a ton in combat sport.

When fighters lose these kinds of decisions, they are still being robbed of a victory, even if the margin was not massive.

I scored it for Song, but it could have went either way. Vera is a fun fighter to watch but he's missing some brain cells and comes off as a sore person when he speaks.

I think Yadong was just hyped up as the next Faber prodigy so the fact that Vera did decent made it seem closer than it was.
