I just watched Khabib vs MJ now

That is a horrible hair split. He's only had 2 fights go to decision. He has KO'd or TKO'd about 90% of his opponents. If you want to pretend that's not KO power - especially after what he did to Jose and Alvarez - then there's no getting through to you.

Alvarez explained it the best after he got flash KO'd early in the fight. His whole gameplan went out the window and he was on autopilot for the rest of the match. The first hard shot messed him up so bad he couldn't stick to his plan or even remember what dropped him.

Right but the other guy wasn't disputing that Conor has power. He was disputing the idea that a one punch ko is typical for him. It isn't.

Since when is MJ a former national champ wrestler? I don't even think he won it at the community college level.

Precision beats power and timing beats speed. Michael johnson is nowhere close to conors level as shown by the diaz fight, diaz made him look like an amature. Khabib is dead if he cant get it to the ground, and conor has 5 rounds to knock him out.
What are you talking about? If MJ looked like amature when he fight vs Diaz, McGregor looked like deadman because he was finished.

He was never close to be rocked, but he was hit with solid shots and felt them and backed up from those shots.
So he did what a big majority of fighters do, get hit, recover and begin to circle again. Also, if you look at the gifs, you can see Khabib was barely caught by the shots that Rogan said to have "hurt him".
