Because, as the UFC so eloquently put it, Cain Valesquez has EARNED the rematch. Not sure what he did to EARN it but he earned it. I know because that's what the UFC said
UFC thinks rematches will always do bigger business than the first. I am not even sure it is about Cain. They just don't know how to sell new match ups unless one of the guys is a unstoppable champ.
