Agreed. It would be weak that he would get the titleshot but you can't deny the end result.

Nonetheless, Conor fucked up the #1 contender and within seconds, slept a guy that hadn't lost in a decade. Super impressive. No one else in the division can say that they hold wins over Aldo and Mendes, let alone beat them via strikes.

The UFC rankings are useless shill garbage and everyone knows that because the UFC controls them. Fighters just randomly rise up the ranks without fighting as Siver did before his fight with McGregor. Use the Sherdog rankings since they have an archive of them dating back to the beginning of the sport and that's also the site we're on.
