If Tom Brady played for the league minimum then you would have a point. Brady restructured his contract to allow his team to build a roster that could win championships. He still made a ridiculous amount of money in New England and left to get paid more in Tampa Bay.

That’s a fuckin absurd standard. So does he need to play for the minimum for him to be playing for the love of the sport or does he need to be playing for fifteen bucks an hour?

Name me one tenured professional athlete that plays the game for the love of the sport and not for their multi million dollar contract.
