I was heading back to work from my lunch break (I work graveyard shift). I noticed an orange streak above the southern horizon. It was a long, thick, deep orange streak. All I can compare it to is a comet or meteorite but with a thick tail. I was trying to figure out what it is and was looking for a side street to pull over on to take a pic (I'm on a motorcycle). I then notice that it's shrinking. The streak is slowly "collapsing" from left to right. By the time I pull over, it resembles a large orange ball which eventually disappears. I continue on my way and it returns. This time it's a lot more faint, not as large, and quickly disappears. The time it took from when I first noticed it until I pulled over lasted over a minute. I cant imagine what it could've been.
