Cody’s head movement was a sight to behold. He truly was a slick mother fucker right there.
I still think it was an early stoppage. Cody was gonna get him any second

Yes. It was top shelf stuff .it took a lot of composure to keep his head still like that right in the middle of a fire fight

That looked like a specific counter that was worked on by TJ (and Duane) for when Cody got aggressive which is why he spammed it 3x. Cody seems to jump the outside angle with his chin up while winging hooks thus leaving his chin a massive bullseye in that spot for an overhand right. Guarantee it was something they saw on tape when NoDad got emotional and overaggressive.

Isn't the definition of insanity doing the same stuff over and over again and expecting different results?

Less than a year ago, Cody said this:

"I'll go in there and knock Conor the f--- out in boxing," Garbrandt told ESPN. "Let's be honest. There's no difference in a southpaw McGregor's fighting stance] or orthodox. That guy could come out and fight on his hands for all I give a f---. I would knock him out, and that's it.

"I've got T.J. ahead of me. He's a great adversary to level up on. I'm excited to go in there and take out T.J., and whoever else 'Mighty Mouse' Johnson, Conor. You can give me top boxers, Adrien Broner, Mikey Garcia. I would love to get in the ring with them."

This was said between TJ fights, yes?

That's a great attitude to have imo. A bit inflated, maybe, but he had just destroyed Cruz and came somewhat close to taking out tj before getting figured out. I believe humility is extremely important, but not at the expense of one's own potential. Why not try to get the fights? Why not think he can win? (I mean this from Cody's perspective, not sherdoggers lol)
