They made about a 2 inch incision. Push my guts back in. Stitched the tear. Put a cloth mesh over it to reinforce it. Stitched me back up.

No thankfully not. I never had any pain but my doctor recommended I get it repaired before it worsened and turned into a real problem.

It's pretty low overall. Only really starts to hurt when I have to get up off the couch and bend at the waist a little. I'm on Vicodin and using lots of ice but it's still tender.

No it was outpatient. Checked in at 9 am, was home by 2pm.
