I hope the UFC starts losing fighters to other organizations.

Here's why.

Dana tends to be really stuck up about how the UFC is the premier organization and constantly talks down about other organizations and their fighters. He doesn't care when ex-UFC fighters go to other organizations after being cut, because he decided he didn't want them.

I really want to see other organizations start humbling the UFC by offering fighters better deals, starting with Melendez. If he ends up with Bellator, Dana might start to humble himself a little and work more on employee morale and stop being an MMA elitist.

If he keeps shitting on fighters and they hear about deals from other organizations picking up new people, then they'll leave. Dana would have to change something to keep the level of talent he wants to have.
 
If he keeps shitting on Benson, Hendo, Reem, GSP and among others like Spider then I do hope those fighters jump to WSOF or Bellator just to fuck him over.

His mouth and how he operates this business is the only reason why the UFC isn't considered a professional sport not now or anytime soon.

That already went out the window though when Dana refused to sign Askren because he's supposedly boring. That was proof Dana doesn't necessarily care about having the best fighters. Just who he thinks will make the UFC the most money.
 
I don't care about the "best" fighters fighting each other. I just want to see good competitive fights. I would love to see honest competition to the UFC's hold on MMA. I think the sport needs something like that to shake it up. I no longer shit on the UFC as a brand out of hand but I also don't want to see them unopposed at the helm either.

Lately its just been pathetic.. I enjoy listening to Dana's rants sometimes, but he's just been pathetic lately

Openly trashing Overeem, saying he's scared etc..
 
Only fighter that want to leave the UFC and fight elsewhere are ones that want easy fights.

The future sucks knowing you are the people expected to go into the real world and work for a living. We're all doomed with this nancy generation. It's the fucking fight business kids, take off the diapers and training wheels already.
 
Dana already said that Gil should be looking elsewhere before the deal with Bellator was made apparent. He ain't getting humbled. The UFC brand is bigger than all of the fighters except for maybe 5 (GSP, Anderson, etc.)
 
I love MMA.
It's my favorite of all sports(it's the only sport I've ever kept track of but boxing).
All I care about is good fights. I could give your mothers two dead baby fucks what Org it happens in as long as I can see the beautiful displays of skills these guys strive so hard and struggle towards. We should award fighters with our appreciation and doses of criticism. It's a balance that propels them to stardom.

I'd rather see fighters at least get financially compensated and respected for taking repeated blows to the head, body. Wherever that's going to happen. But then again I grew out of sociopathic tendencies when I was like 9.
 
UFC is a bit different from other sports, they are more like WWE. They can manufacture great fighters out of thin air while keeping pay low as long as they maintain a bubble around the org to protect it from true competition exposing the UFC as just theatrics.

It seems they are moving towards Ronda Roussey being the next MMA GOAT after she beat Cupcake. :rolleyes:
 
If other orgs get on a similar pay scale or higher & Dana's tirades keep disrespecting his employees it could very well happen.

honestly, i like what WSOF is doing. they will probably creep up to the #3 mma promotion in 2014

i like them because the fights are on FREE TV. this whole UFC fight pass thing is wack, no way in hell am i subscribing to that BS. the only reason the UFC is so big today is because of their deal with spikeTV. they showed all the fights for free. the UFC seems like a bunch of money hungry, greedy bastards now

They seem to be doing fine they got Viacom watching over them. And besides I love the way they are expanding and advertising.

Got the sponsorship with Carl's Junior now so money is coming in one way or another.
