I hope the drama surrouding Yamasaki will not lead to more early stoppages

I feel like the referee community are interpreting this Yamasaki situation as a referee letting the fight go on for way too long which is NOT true, Priscila was never out and she was always trying to fight back, the only bad refeering was Yamasaki responding to the tap too late, I think the most of the blame should be on UFC for this mismatch

She was outstruck something like 200-3, and it's not as if she was making up the striking difference with grappling. If it's that big of a mismatch, the ref is well within his rights to call off the fight, regardless of her mental state or intelligent defense.

That. 100%. I'd rather see every fight stopped a few shots early than even one fight stopped a shot too late. I'll cut a ref all the slack in the world for a perceived "early" stoppage, but a late stoppage is unforgivable in my book.

Early stoppages are a massive problem already. The fans that are ok with early stoppages are fucking pussies and have been trained to think the way that they do.
