Am I the only one? Everyone I know seems mesmerized with it, all of my friends have GoT parties every Sunday. 7 seasons in and there's no way I can just jump into rotation. Is it worth slagging through 7 seasons just to see what the fuss is about?

Last week I was playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 while wife was watching GoT on her laptop with earphones in. She obviously couldn't hear the noises she was making, but every so often I would hear 'Ah!' 'What??' 'No!!' The odd shrieking, ooh-ing, aah-ing. I thought it was funny.

My wife even made me grow my hair long so I look like Kaldrogo.

I think I watched half of the first episode a few years ago and lost interest. I saw the scene on youtube where the dude got his face crushed by that huge guy. But that's all I've seen.

Do it. I watched the first 2 seasons before i read the books and i was questioning so many things that were dumb. In the books he doesn't do those dumb things and you're like aw hbo is just dumb.
