Its the start of the college football season (yeah, I know there were games earlier in the week, but its the first full weekend) This also happens to be my favorite training time of the year and its the time of year I always have my best workouts. The weather has cooled off just a bit ( damn it was hot this summer ) but its still warm. Saturday workouts and college football just seem to go together. I slept in this morning ( till about 7am) got up, head to the bookstore ( stopped to get some McMuffins enroute) worked for a couple of hours, then read all of the pre-game stuff just to get jacked up. Will head home in a couple of hours. Set up the tv's/webcasts, etc in the garage and listen/watch the early games and train in the home gym with my son. I dont know about you all, but I college football games do far more for my training than just about any hard rock type music. Get done just in time to grab a hot shower, throw on my team colors, pop an ice cold beverage and start the game, while my wife and daughters are cooking dinner. It just does not get any better than this!
