great vid, funniest part is the beggining when rich is describing how hard it is

Great strength endurance workout, but what about explosiveness and power stuff? may be that's what's missing in his game.

Well 1 short training clip doesnt tell you all about his training. Also that video is quite old I wouldnt be surprised if he has changed his training methods, alot of the big MMA guys are shifting to more Ross/CrossFit style training rather than doing machine work like they all used to.

If I remember correctly, Rich changed his workout, and I saw a few pics of him doing sandbag work.

Yeah, before the second Silva fight I think there were pics from his training and it looked improved (well in my opinion). Lots of sandbag stuff, choping wood with an axe, sledgehammer training, etc.

but why is it every fight i've seen of his he is always gassed by the 2nd round?

He cheats. He's got some fine-ass blonde watching him. I'd be able to pull a Rich Franklin workout too with her staring at me...

(ok maybe not but I'd die trying)

It must be all that Xyience he takes. I really need to get some of that stuff.

Seriously though, I wonder what his supplements consist of, like if he ever takes NoXplode.

I think this routine borders on being ineffective. The type of local muscular endurance it focuses on isn't necessary for the sport, and I'm amazed to see the use of so many machines. That being said, I would die half way through it.
