Woke up with chest pains in they middle of the night. Ignored it. It eventually went away, but then it came back in the morning.

I've had this before and the doctors do tons of tests and it takes all day, then they tell me I'm fine.

The last time the doctor even tried to tell me it was muscle pain, like a grown man wouldn't be able to tell the difference between pectoral muscle pain and heart pain.

But of course I have to go get it checked out, even though I already know they're not going to give me any answers. The one time I don't go will probably be the time it's actually a heart attack.

Waste of money too. I have insurance yet somehow these things still cost me hundreds of dollars.

You need better insurance and a hot doctor.

My dad hated visiting doctors and tried to walk off every sickness he ever had until he got diagnosed with late stage cancer.

He used to joke that as soon as he sets foot in a hospital, the'll question how he's still alive, because his body defies biology, and afterwards will take him out of there in a coffin.

Well...

Carry a nitrolingual heart spray for angina ?

Maybe ask your doctor if it would be a good idea to carry one ?

What tests have you had done ?

ECGs
Angiogram?

I remember reading a few articles on studies done showing the annual physical check out did not extend life. I've read in Canada they even stopped recommending the annual physical due to it not being beneficial.

Good luck with your latest visit to the doctors. hope this time is different, and they find an answer for the chest pain. I never had much luck myself with similar doctors visits.

I'm kind of chuckling about bringing up the annual physical not helping to extend life. i live in Florida and often find myself in my parents older retired folks neighborhood. Once you reach 65 years of age, when you are eligible for Medicare, I've come to learn the older folks live for going to the doctors. They make a day of it, wait at the doctors all morning, then go out to lunch, and in the evening go to parties where they talk about their doctors visit and tests done.

I haven't had a check up in over 30 years.
Last time I went to the doctor was three years ago when I had a fever for nine days and it wouldn't go away.
Doctor said it was a chest cold.
Went to a different doctor and he said I had asthmatic bronchitis and pneumonia.
I do religiously go to the dentist though.
I have little faith in the medical profession.

Yea last time I went was for ringworm. The time before that was a fever that was going away then came back stronger. I felt like a dick for calling into work, then coming in one day then having to call in again.

Dentist is the only thing I don’t miss but my gums are fucked so it’s necessary.

I went for the first time in 10 years the other day. They took blood, now my arms are all bruised from it. Turns out my tests came back negative and they don't know what it was. A weird sickness with covid symptoms, but I'm negative for covid. Everyone here is getting it

You have the CovAIDS. RIP.

How many fauci ouchies though. But seriously something interesting about the ouchie injured is that very little shows up on their tests, completely clean cardiac MRIs and CTs. It's like there's something going on on a cellular level that the usual tests don't know to look for.

I tried to warn everyone. Mods deleted my anti covid Vax messages and banned me from the covid thread

I was having chest pains a while back and went to urgent care because it kept getting worse and I couldn't reach above my head without severe pain.

Like 2 weeks before that, I had called an ambulance for myself during a bit of a "moment" involving a lot of alcohol and pills. Apparently the first responders had to call a cop to restrain me and he put me in a bear hug. The official diagnosis from the doc was chostiocondritis.

No idea why nothing surfaced until later, but that motherfucker must have had a serious grip on me. Shit was sore for a month.

It was scary though. I thought I was having some kind of mild heart attack.

Last time I went to see my doctor, I asked him a health question and he took out his phone and googled it. No kidding.

My doctor likes the annual Medicare checkups. I just got a message today again that I should schedule one.

I once had some serious shit going on. I printed some short health log notes and the ER people would not bother even pretending to read it. How in the fuck are you supposed to save lives if you don't care to know what the symptoms and problems are, when they started, details, etc? Just going thru the motions collecting the paycheck then flirting with the women nurses. In the end, they couldn't tell me what the cause was and ct scan didn't show anything. If I didn't google and eat something high in a particular nutrient first before going to ER, I probably could have died. I also suspect some of them employees were anti-vax nutjobs.
