Colby staying active. Colby can't fight Usman, because Usman needs surgery. In the meantime, Colby has a choice: either sit on his ass even more and end up not competing for almost 1.5 years total or actually fight and get paid.

How am I hating on Colby? I'm just saying the obvious truth. Colby can't fight for the belt now regardless of whether he deserves the title shot or not (he does), but he has to keep fighting, because he's already been out for so long.

but let's be honest, Colby is literally the fakest champ in UFC history. There was absolutely no reason to have that interim title fight.
