Apparently he will be getting a lead role. I really hope it's as Van Damme's character. The two have so much in common.

I doubt he'd get the Van Damme role. Possibly as a mentor or a training partner type role.

His voice is too nasally to be a lead actor.

I was hoping GSP was getting the main role because I think he could actually be a Van Damme-type martial arts movie star. He did great in Captain America.

Uh, but he talks extremely close to the way Van Damme talks, lol. That's what I thought the first time I heard GSP in an interview years ago. Like he wouldn't even have to act, he could just be himself and pull it off.
