I remember I wanted Swick to win in his fight against Brown, but I felt like Brown was gonna do something spectacular.

I picked Bj to beat Rory, but Rory dominated Bj & made Bj fans disappointed.

I thought Palhares was gonna win against Belcher & so did alotta sherdoggers based on the hype train of threads around here, but I felt like Belcher was gonna make noise in his comeback.

I wanted Miocic & Browne to be future Heavyweight contenders but I felt like Struve & Bigfoot were gonna beat them one way or another.

Idk I always get these bad feelings & it most likely sounds weird but I feel as much as I want Varner to beat Guillard, I feel as if Guillard's gonna KO him. Not based on the Weigh-Ins, just got a feeling about it. I hope Varner proves me wrong though, I know he's such a heavy favorite around here.

ITT: I'm terrible at picking fights but trust me, Guillard will win.

And he'll win by KO? Good to know. I know we all were thinking he'd submit him.

So what you're saying is, you have poor judgement and are inconsistent in the success of your bets? Thanks for sharing.

    BJ over Rory.... Amazing.

Funny I think guillard is gonna get clipped with a weak jab and then get subbed real quick ala lauzon / guillard :D

Ya I really like both guys, but I don't see it TS....I think Varner has just enough stand-up to get Mr. Guillard on the ground where he'll be finished.

both guys have a great chance. Melvin has 1-punch power. Varner has the tools to win this fight 9/10 times, but he can also be inconsistent. I wouldn't rush to put money on this fight but if I had to choose I'd probably pick Varner.

after watching the weigh in, I believe that Varner is going to score the KO. Guillard has been in 10000000 fights and has become very chinny. Varner has good boxing and hits pretty hard. Guillard is too hopped up for this fight and it will likely be his downfall.

I think if anything it happens the other way. This match up has driven me insane as far as picks go, I can't have too much confidence in either guy. At first I was going with Varner, I think he has the better chin and more technical boxing between the two. Melvin is more explosive and stronger wrestler but he has a tendency to lose fights, his ground game is not up to par. But ever since the first match up was announced I'm now picking Melvin.

Guillard is impossible to predict. He has the speed and power to KO anyone, but he's also chinny and has nonexistent sub defense. Anyone who bets money on a Guillard fight is crazy. Might as well bet on coin flips.

I don't get why everybody thinks Guillard has a bad chin, I think it's more along the lines that he rushes into everything with full speed and if his opponent has good enough timing then he gets hurt.

He ran into Lauzon's jab and was getting ready to rush Cerrone then Cerrone through that beautiful HK & Guillard was so phased by it he left himself open for a straight right KO.

    nope
    varner takes this
varner is the exact type of guy guillard loses to
varner has dropped some, admittedly, but not to guillards level I think
