with better technique...he might not have the pure raw power as Francis, but it's very close to the point that it doesn't really mean much...He just seems like a more accurate puncher, which is probably why he has more 1st round stoppages than Francis....

not saying he is an overall better fighter than Francis, but maybe he is? he hasn't really been tested besides the Reem fight, and he has the wrestling/sambo background

I don't really remember Francis taking a bomb though. He's been hit and almost doesn't even react but no one's laid it on him like pav could. Id honestly love to see that fight bc of the technique vs raw power factor.

And I mean Stipe's shots were clean and on the button. Stipe put everything into them. And Francis's poor defense left him wide open, but that could be him goading you into a brawl.

Francis ran into a couple of clean Rozenstruik counters and it didn’t even slow him down. He also ran into the same Stipe right hand that KOd Werdum right before Francis flatlined him.

White Ngannou also got a few clean right hands from Blaydes and it didn’t have any effect. They both have granite chins.

Watch the first one. Stipe bombed him clean and Francis shrugged it off.

Think it was early in the fight, so you won't have to watch the wrestle F for 5 rounds.

Think the bombs were in first and second before the wrestle F.

Not sure who this Francis lady is you are talking about but Jones would put Pavlovich down easier than he did Gane. Landing ridiculously wide haymakers on tubs of lard planted directly in front of you that can't get out of their own way is not skill or accuracy.

Francis has been rocked at least 3 times. Once by a Jab by Blaydes and once by a straight punch by stipe in the first fight. And also he was was rocked again by a straight punch by stipe in the second fight.

Ngannou has some of the UGLIEST, yet most effective striking I've ever seen in the UFC.
His technique is atrocious. But when the results are so undeniable, it doesn't really matter what it looks like.
Pav has prettier striking and we'll see if it proves to be equally effective.

Ngannou bodies guys like he has cheat codes on in a video game. His streak of quick KOs is really impressive. However who knows what kind of power he has today especially after knee surgery and ring rust. Pavlovich doesn't have the history Ngannou has in the division, he has a long hill to climb to get better names.
