He got dominated and knocked out by a guy many people considered below him.

He went out on his shield after a gruelling fight of him getting rocked and rocked over again, and afterwards no one even cheered the heart he put in his performance.

Knowing Sherdog well enough, people will say that it was a joke to rate him in the top 3 P4P, even though he was on a 30+ fight win streak and beat some world class fighters Idiots will discredit him as a fighter even though every great fighter eventually loses.

And worst of all, he lost, so Dana's advice of "keep winning fights and you will eventually be a star and make actual money", is now nullified.

Luckily he's only 27 and he can use this loss to motivate him to get back to the top again.

Hate on haters, your opinions are virtually meaningless anyways.

I'm lost. Can anybody help me?
Well, his conditioning caught up to him for cutting so much and being the bigger guy. It cuts both ways and this time it was a detriment to the bigger guy.

I always thought he was not that dynamic anyways... D-Shaw was much more dynamic and the better fighter.

He'll be back. A loss can beneficial, especially if the fighter is still so young. He's still one of the best in the world. It's likely he'll get an immediate rematch; he still seems like he'll dominate most in the division.

I'm not so sure we can say he had a gas tank problem tonight, if anything his durability was absolutely shocking considering the volume of power shots he absorbed and fought all the way to the 5th.

He got fantastically knocked down (and likely concussed) in the first round when both guys were perfectly fresh. He was in zombie mode from there.

I think will be back. I hope he made more than 22K dollars for this fight.

Honestly I felt bad too. It was like nobody cheered or booed. Like nobody even cared.

Yeah it was very weird because it seemed like there were a lot of Brazilians in the crowd from the chants earlier in the fight.

Sherdog never really appreciated the guy and now they will simply write him off.
I would like to see him move up a weight class.

Agreed. Barao fought with the heart of a champion even after getting rocked repeatedly. The crowd should've definitely shown him more respect after a performance like that. Barao'll be back stronger. Fuck the haters

I don't feel bad for him.
He won 30+ fights and was a UFC champ.
It doesn't last forever and he did as well as someone can do.

He looked past TJ and paid a painful price for it. He will learn from this beat-down but Dillashaw looked outstanding in this fight.

This is MMA, everyone loses. He just fought a guy that was faster, had a more diverse striking game and a better gas tank. MMA is a cruel sport, you're at the top of the world one moment and it only takes one punch to bring you down.

I just felt bad for goldberg. He couldn't even call the fight with Rogan's excessive nuthugging of dillashow
