I don't understand why Tony Ferguson is being dismissed

Sorry, but Nate has much better boxing than Tony. See the MJ fights for comparison, where both fights devolved into straight boxing matches. Tony may be more versatile, have other offensive and defensive arsenals that trump Nate's, but his defensive and offensive boxing is not one. The single trait that has been proven to be essential to hanging with Conor is top notch boxing. Eddie was once considered one of the best boxers in MMA but even he looked like a clueless imbecile when paired with Conor's boxing.

He has better offense than Tony? yeah, that is evidenced by his lower striking percentage for sure.

Tony has better defense too, as evidenced by his higher defense percentage.

Which would easily propel Conor to a decision over a beaten Tony (If Tony some how can recover from all of Conor's knockdowns) This isn't a video game where fighters stamina and health bars replinish after each round. This is reap life.

And that's even assuming that Conor doesnt outright flat line Tony. Tony literally RUNS in with uppercut leads chin up high. Tony running into a trademark Conor counter = devastating collision =the kind of collision that causes out cold knockouts

Tony isn't going to have a boxing match with Conor, like dummy Diaz. Diaz has garbage fight IQ and doesn't even know how to check a fucking leg kick. Tony has more damaging strikes, better cardio and better grappling than Nate Diaz.

If nothing else I just expect that the law of averages and chance will lead to Khabib getting clocked and rocked by a big shot while chasing his opponent.
Any fight now. Doesn't necessarily have to be the best striker that does it, but I just expect he can't keep doing this forever, some time he will get caught badly.

I am not saying that Tony should be the favorite (some of this is because they don't like Tony as a person which is stupid) in this fight and this fight is far from a foregone conclusion because Tony has several advantages.

He has 6.5 inches of reach, better cardio, and isnt going to get totally ragdolled on the ground without landing some nasty elbows or sub attempts. He won't get broken on the ground like Michael Johnson or Barboza
The fact that this is a 5round fight favors Tony as well. Don't sleep on Tony!

I, now ,cannot stand the way the 29 year old carries himself .I appreciate the manner in which he carries himself INSIDE THE CAGE.Conor is a technician as a stand up fighter and Tony continues to prove he's wreckless- still a great 155er- but reckless and in a dust up with Conor, I'd open up Mcgregor in the minus -185, -190 area.Fergusons corner people better have their shit together cause things can go south and quickly in this particular match up.
Can Tony win ? Of course he can but an actual game plan could go a long way in this one.Ferguson has a lot of 'yes' men around him which may not be a bad thing but flip side of coin- you don't want all this extreme confidence to a fault AND THAT WILL HAPPEN if he thinks he's just going to roll into cage and snatch mcgregor s title as if it were some exhibition.

This is paramount, he must realize that a bunch of really intelligent people up in Reno who we call oddsmakers opened up Conor close to a 2-1 favorite for a reason.This certainly doesn't mean Conor is going to win but Tony does need to realize he's fighting the champ and he holds that label for good reason.

Stylistically I favor Mcgregor but Ferguson certainly talented enough to pull MILD upset.Tony needs to come into this fight like he's runn8ng a marathon and not let Conor dictate pace of fight but at the same time can't go balls to the wall apeshit like he tends to do.
