than Connor McGregor beating Dennis Siver in Boston. I've never placed a bet before in my life, but seriously considering betting my house on this one...

I want to see McGregor vs Aldo , so wouldn't mind Connor getting the expected win..... but if Siver pulled the Buster Douglas on Sherdog I think this forum would explode

Conor should win but I honestly don't think it's as much of a wash as everyone's making it out to be.

My fandom for Conor probably nhas something to do with that though as I'm always nervous that my favourite fighters will lose. Which is why I'll be sitting on pins and needles when The Mauler meets Rumble in Sweden

Don't bet the house. Clearly they are making an easy path for what's his name, but it's MMA. It's never smart to place a bet in this sport. So many ways to lose. Dude could take a bad step an twist his ankle, boom, there goes your house.

Seriously, the odds are going to be stacked against Siver. Betting on Siver could be a good bet (depending on the odds). Remember GSP/Serra

Why would you bet anything on this fight? Conor is a huge favorite (or should be, I haven't checked the odds) so you won't make anything back.

I'm speaking metaphorically by the way and do not encourage gambling...

This is a squash match. I had to look up Siver's fight finder and make sure he didn't win a bunch of fights that I managed to miss... and nope, still not that impressive a record. He's a journeyman, being offered up as a stopgap for Connor while he waits on the champ

Oh, OK. I'm not even going to watch the fight. You know who will win, just a waste of time really.

I thought you were really betting.

I feel that Dana is going to poison Siver.

Neither guy is terribly impressive and without all the hype Connor would be just another small fighter nobody cares about working his way up the ranks.

Isn't worth it. If you bet your house, all you would win would be a new kitchen chair.

More caps.

zyGOAT is being gifted a title shot. I hope Siver randomly destroys him.

Now he's going to lose because you made this thread, ts. That's how it works.

Conor is -1200, meaning you need to bet 1200 to win 100. (Or bet 12 dollars to win 1).

Not a good value. The prop bets are where you want to bet:

The first prop is Conor inside the distance. That is -675. So you are already getting about double from the straight bet.

This also doesn't have much value.

The 2nd prop is Conor wins in Round one. That is currently at -130. Meaning you have to bet 130 to win 100.

The 3rd prop is fight goes under 1.5 rounds. That is is currently at -185.

Nope everything about Conor has been impressive.

bets are like 1.10 in favor of mcgregor

but if you consider it fail proof, then
