I dont think Conor fought someone who hits as hard as Poirier

Conor's been rocked and dropped by some of the most notorious pillow fisters in combat sports - Khabib, Floyd and Nate. Doositn also chipped his tooth the one time he got to connect properly in the first fight.

It's also reasonable to believe that the punches that have hurt Doostin in the past that he gets shat on would devastate Conor as well.

So, yeah, you might be on to something here.

And I mean a Loss is a Loss, but eveyone who's watched their first fight can plainly see that Dustin ducked a punch from Connor, and Conor's hook grazed the back of his head, killing his equilibrium and putting him on queer street. Fair enough, but that *IS* a bit of puncher's luck, i.e., a clipping that landed in a wild flurry, so despite what all the armchair analysts say, it's not like Dustin wasn't competitive or brought nothing to the table, he ducked when he shouldn't have, and Conor's hook landed where he didn't intend it to, but the outcome was certainly just fine for Conor.

Tldr; in combat sports almost every fight is filled with potential, near, would-be, and hypothetical knockouts. This one really could go either way, and anyone 100% confident in their pick is delusional.

That being said, WAR Poirier, I've digged all the hard work and consistent ass-whoopings he's been dealing out over the last several years.

It could go either way, but with their strengths and weaknesses taken into account, McGregor is a deserved favorite.

"Dustin is a much better and more experienced fighter now..."

Wait, and Conor isn't?

I never really though of Dusty as a power pincher. Edgey and him are prolly neek and neck

Dustin gave Conor Louisiana hotsauce. If Conor gives it a taste test, his unprepared native guts will turn to couvillion. He's going to shit himself.
"American hot sauce was really spicey" said no non-American ever. Shit just tastes like sugar and vinegar.
