Benson fulfilled his contract obligations before he left for more money, not only is Conor still under contract but he inked a fight.
 
Has anyone thought that if the UFC doesn't draw the line somewhere that it will eventually affect the promotion? These posts are made by people who have little experience in the free market.
 
People around here have always ranted on about how the fighters don't get paid enough, then when Conor does what he needs to do (talk smack basically) to get paid people shit on him, then he stands up against the UFC, and people shit on him. It is the way it is around here that people are blinded by their love or hate of a fighter's personality. Everyone takes the extreme, black or white, without an appreciation of the grey.

It is the same thing in that everyone was saying 'lol he better start drilling leg kicks and grappling', but when he isolates himself in Iceland to prevent the distraction of the media and simply DO EXACTLY THAT, people want to shit on him saying he's lost it, and he's scared, and whatever.

I don't get it...

Hate is a strong word friend I just think this has less to do with Connor actually caring about doing promos and more that he has thought about his chances of winning. He knows that he doesn't need to lose again for his image it's hard to sell the same bullshit excuses twice.

'Standing his ground'. He's holding them up. He broke an agreement and your labeling him as Robin Hood. In the real world pal, labeling someone a hater doesn't obviate the other person's argument. You actually need to present some substantive facts, and currently, those aren't on your side.

He has a signed a contract to show, including the ramifications if he didn't. From what I've read money isn't the issue, not that it would give credence to what you've posited regardless. He agreed to be pulled and that's what happened.

These fighters aren't forced in the UFC. They don't get to come in and start throwing their
weight around demanding this or that. Is that how you run your business? They agree to fight for
specific amounts of money. Go to another organization if your not happy. No business could withstand that kind of mindset in the long term.
