Man am i blind? My espectations for hw are often so low that i get easily impressed, he showed a versatile game and some speed, didn't look any worse than the skinny fat blonde guy from last week... Should have gotten the contract in my opinion

Heavyweight is about badass big dudes that can knock people out.

Dana probably thought russian guy played it too safe and was boring

How the hell he played it safe, he even got a finish... Honestly this kinda makes me think the contender series is kinda of a joke you don't even need to have a impressive dominant win you just need to super exciting like the mexican dude? Than whats the point, this is a clown show they are not looking for good fighters they are looking for bar brawlers

The UFC doesn't recruit like a real pro sports league. Major part of the problem.

It is because they are cross between an entertainment product and a sports league.

Heavyweights are pretty heavy, you know. Even Dana and his massive bear arms might have trouble picking up heavyweight dudes.

He viewed him as a bloated LHW who was a huge favorite in that fight and should've been more dominant . I think it was a weird decision though when you have fighters like Dukakus in the top 10 at HW but you dont pick him .... plus he got the finish and it was a lackluster card . Dumb move but whatever its not like we are really missing out on something .

bro the whole premise of show is to impress Dana so he gives you a contract. Plenty of boring guys been rejected on show even though they won.

Couldn’t find a working stream. Doesn’t sound like I missed much. Good deal.
