I didn't watch the fight last night...but does last night change your opinion on Ronda vs Holly 2 ?

Do you guys reckon Ronda may have under trained and gotten to cocky ? Her physique in the fight was the worst it's ever been. And the whole weigh in meltdown she had was odd, she wasn't right mentally I don't think. That Holly may have simply had a great night, one thing to note is she landed a few hard shots early on which seemed to hurt Ronda.


I think it's fair to say that there is no way Holly is a better fighter than Ronda...even if she wrecks Ronda again it's clearly a clash of styles if you know what I mean that Holly has the skills to beat Ronda but Ronda has dominated EVERYONE bar Holly and Holly has had many mediocre MMA fights, her fight before the Ronda fight was a tame performance. Then she got choked out by Miesha.

No, styles makes fights and Holm is a terrible match for Ronda.

Don't get me wrong, Ronda has a chance to beat her. But I'd pick Holm as the favorite.

Holly is better, honda was a hype Job whso stand up is an embarrassment to the sport.

Also Meisha is better then given credit her style is just not very good vs hondas Judo grappling subs. And who knows maybe all the bs she went through made Meisha better then ever before.

No because Holly is a better striker than Ronda and knows how to use it. Miesha is a good mix of striking and grappling. And she used her grappling to beat Holly. Something she can't do to Ronda.

It might have... If Ronda had been training like a bat in hell.. Instead she went on a eating spree and have not been seen anywhere near a gym.
Current Ronda has less of a chance against Holly.

I didn't watch the fight yet because I was ill last night (got the cold). And it was on from 3am-6am. I was in bed.

I'm watching the repeat on Bt sports tonight. Cut me some slack please.

Nah, Holly beats Rhonda again. I bet now Holy is going to come back real stronger so a rematch with Rhonda might end up even worse for Rhonda.

Holly would win again vs Rousey. AND Holm would win the rematch vs. Tate. Holm stuffed 7 of 9 takedown attempts, and she was winning the fight. Tate is a top 3/4 woman's MMA and she never quit. It's not like Holm lost to an unaccomplished no-name.

Ronda rocked Holly in the first round even with her bullrush gameplan that got her wrecked. In last night's fight, Holly was winning the fight until Tate got that last takedown. That's the way Ronda beats Holly if she doesn't catch her. Ronda has a very good chance and if she had good trainers they'd help her see that and come out of her depression. She just needs to hang with Holly in the standup and get it to the ground when she can and go for the finish.

Yeah. Ronda will beat Miesha and retire at the top. Doesn't care about avenging the loss. Then we get Miesha vs Holly 2, unless someone else has beaten Holly in the meantime.

I said Miesha had a better chance to beat Holm than Ronda because she's a natural wrestler. She's able to close the distance better than Ronda with singles and Double leg take downs

Rondas game is reliant on plodding forward getting in the clinch and taking you down. That's not going to happen vs a taller, rangier South paw striker.

Even though Miesha got out striked she had good movement. If she focuses on that and doesn't go for takedown she has a good chance od winning vs Ronda

I think Holm beats Rousey but I knew all the Miesha fans would come out saying now all of a sudden she stands a chance against Ronda, styles make fights and we've already seen that movie twice.

Nobody can beat Holm on the feet. Lets be real. Holm has amazing striking and very good takedown defense. Tate got stuffed so many times. Holm weakness is her defensive ground game. Out of these 3 (Holm, Tate and Rousey), I think Holm will get the belt back. I dont see Rousey being able to take Holm down with high grapple attack and then I see Holm pick her apart. Holm was winning the fight vs Tate. She will get better with her defensive ground game. I see Holm beating both Rousey and Tate. If Rousey fought Tate, Rousey wins.
