A lot of bad match ups. HW: *Overeem vs silva doesn 't make sense. The could just wait and give alistair the jds-cain loser *Werdum-Nog A top contender vs a past his prime nog who had a hard time against Herman. LHW: Jones -Sonnen.Maybe the worst option when hendo, lyoto and gustaf were available. *Evans-Nog I just dont get it. WW: *Gsp-Diaz *Hendricks-Ellenberger *Condit-Rory

JDS is the JDS vs Cain Loser. Overeem is lucky to even have a fight after his suspension. He certainly deserves less.Don't forget he had a shot at the title lined up and got suspended. Werdum needs to earn a title shot since he has already lost to Overeem and JDS.

What's not to get about Evans Vs Nog?

UFC has been confirmed for a sports entertainment business. If you want matchmaking judged on talent go to Bellator

Bellator is where matchmaking that makes sense gets you. 2nd place, still walking on eggshells, and years away from being competitive w/ the 1st place guys.

If you want to be entertained watch the UFC.
If you want fair matchmaking watch Bellator.

Who cares if fights make sense. I want exciting fights! Does Edgar v aldo make sense? Not really. But it's had me excited since it was announced. More than aldo v Koch ever did anyway.

Quit moaning and just enjoy the fights!

Overeem x Big Foot - Yeah, that isn't a good matchup... Overeem is a top contender, and big foot is overretad in my opnion... i don't see how big foot could win that

Werdum x Big Nog - This is a good match, Werdum is upstairs on HW than Big Nog, but even this he is far from the belt, and Big Nog is also a good name on HW.

Jones x Sonnen - This is the worst, horrible matchup, doesn't make any sense.

Evans x Lil Nog - Bad Matchup, Rashad is a top contender and Lil Nog never did anything on UFC... but both have strong names, well, not that bad...

Condit x Rory - That doesn't make a lot of sense, it will be a good fight, but one is coming of a loss to the champion, another is on a big winning streak... Carlos Condit should go to the end of the queue...

GSP x Nick Diaz - Good fight but it's a big injustice with Hendricks, He deserves the title shot now...

Yeah Herman kept headbutting Nog's fist until Nog had to change gears and go for the submission

You can't really do much about the matchmaking without a swarm of bitching coming about as a result. For example, say that Overeem-Cain was made right off the bat for an immediate title shot. People would have complained that he should have had another fight in the UFC besides Brock to be "deserving" of the shot.

Jones has beaten everyone except Hendo, so why is the matchup with Chael bad/dissapointing? I'm not sure how you can't be excited to see these two beat the hell out of each other in the cage after the mountain of shit talk ensues from TUF. Evans/Nogueira is another one that I can't understand. Why wouldn't Rogerio deserve at least a chance of getting a go at the title?

Condit/Rory is going to be FOTN. Bank it.

Come on, Herman just stood there in front of Nog and let him work him over. Terrible fight, and I was a Nog nut-hugger for a long time. I won't call it a work, but if it was in Pride... Well... I WOULD have called it as such.

I disagree with you saying the condit fight does not make sense. It will give rory a chance to beat a big name guy and be considers in the mix and it gives condit a chance to come back after a loss

how do you figure that? they are both coming off losses yes, but putting that ridiculous factor aside, Nick has a much better streak (can you use the word streak when your last fight was a lose? lol so crazy, anyways) ok, HAD a better streak leading up to all this. not to mention the fact that at least Nick is fighting in his weight class AND its a fight that was supposed to happen anyways. Sonnen/Jones? are you kidding me? Sonnen lost to Andy for the 2nd time and looked like crap when he fought Bisping (imo Bisping shoulda gotten the nod) and he hasnt fought at LHW for how long now?
