I actually wish PPVs were on Fridays regularly instead of Saturdays

It seems like a much better fit. It allows you much more freedom to going out on Saturday nights, Fridays just seems more like a guys just hanging out at one of your buddies place drinking beers while Saturday is more of a going out type of night. Plus with it being on Fridays more people work during the day so it seems like getting to the point of the night to watch the PPV comes sooner since you're not just sitting around at home waiting for the PPV to start.

Here in NZ your Saturday Night cards are Sunday midday to afternoon - perfect for a lazy Sunday lounging about catching fights and tinkering about the house when boring fighters are on.

I wouldn't really be able to watch any UFC if it was on Saturday night - too anti social.

Although its already NYE here so UFC will be on in the background for a NYE BBQ but it will be wrapped up by 6pm - perfect.
