So it was brought to my attention that some of my close buds on the site are not actually picking Brock to beat Hunt, and were trolling.

Let me start by saying I actually have Brock Lesnar winning by a 2nd round (t)ko, this is not a troll job or anything. I am a real Brock fan, and I truly believe he will bum rush Hunt and pound his face in ala Brock/Mir at UFC 100.

In all honesty I like Brock in this fight, I feel his takedowns are great and he will get Hunt down and utilize his strength to keep Hunt down and control him weakening him up with ground and pound eventually stopping Hunt in round 2 or 3.

I'm going for Hunt, but I don't know why people are counting Brock out. He's a big dude, and when he's rushing at you, it can suck. I feel like he's going to either shoot for a takedown, get it, and ground and pound to victory, OR shoot for the takedown and get knocked out over the big green monster at Fenway Park.

It's not an outrageous pick. I think Hunt catches him, but wouldn't be surprised if Lesnar wrestle fucked the gas out of Hunt and TKO's him.
 
I think once Brock gets Hunt down, Hunt wont be able to stand back up.

Brock has something like a 8 inch reach advantage going into this fight too, but of course, Hunt is the better striker by far.

50/50 fight imo.

Really??? I couldn't tell by your 100 pro Brock posts/threads.
 
I have Brock. He might still have that chin. Mark could hit him, but he isn't exactly the "pouncing" type...he's the walk-off type. He might also be able to put Hunt down 10 seconds into the fight.

We all know what they both bring to the table, but Brock is the type of athlete I don't bet against too often.
 
Brock can definitely take this. If he gets Hunt down then Hunt will tire quickly like the overweight old man that he is. Fat motherfucker always needs to cut weight. It's embarrassing. And people forget Brock has pretty huge reach. He's gonna connect with a few punches to set up a takedown. But on the other side...If Brock can't take him down in the first round then it's over for him
