Because we need stars (Dana isn’t a wise promoter he sometimes value his ego over the big picture) and Israel is a great self promoter. You could easily see him being on Conan o brien or something playing ufc 4 with Conan or whatever.

Israel is what the future of the sport is about. He’s fucking goofy. He’s wild, he butt fucked his opponent

Stars are great but I don’t see why you would root for him if you don’t like him.
