Thinking of getting one, what type (angled or parallel to floor) should I get and why?
 
What equipment do you already have?
 
A lot, power rack with pulldown and low row, full set of dumbbells, 2 adjustable benches, pull up dip push up rack, all in one machine, olympic bar & weights, smaller bar and weights, rower, spin bike, eliptical, treadmill, bands jump ropes.... probably a few things I am missing. Basically a full home gym.
 
I'd go with an angled one, that way you have the space to hold a barbell to add resistance.
