hybrid guards

#1 Ive been playing around with spider-dlr a lot lately but finding myself just using the famous "lo sweep" or double anke pull w.e you want to call it from there....having success with it but is there any other techiques people use from spider-dlr??? I cant seem to find anything....

#2 Ive seen bjjscout shin on shin guard study, is there any other effective hybrid guards that maybe aren't as popular yet??

Hey man. Check out TrumpetDan's Youtube videos on Keenan Cornelius. They don't exclusively focus on hybrid guards, but because they're primarily competition analysis, you get a chance to see the way Keenan plays a variety of different guards and combines them together. If memory serves, Dan analyzes Keenan's use of the spider/DLR, spider/1-leg X (a la Leandro Lo), spider/shin to shin, closed guard, and his use of DLR and RDLR with various grips to attack different things. I highly recommend the series.
