Really not a fan of this tactic. Very cheap, forces ref to react. We've seen the mess and confusion this can cause with paulhares.

Its the ref's job to decide when to stop the fight how is this Hunt's fault?
 
For the most part I'm pretty sure that his opponents would be down for the count anyways but I can see your point; the refs are definitely influenced to react causing a lot of confusion at times
 
Doesnt force the ref to do anything. A good ref would not be affected. If there is an early stoppage because of it, it's not Hunt's fault, it is the refs.
 
Hunt is actually one of the best referees out there.

I get what you're saying. It puts the ref in a very awkward position. But you will get shit for it.
 
Hunt is proud old school warrior, when he scores the KO, he knows the fight is over and does not want to inflict any more unnecessary damage. Its not like any of his opponent ever complained about Hunt walking away.
 
Dominick Cruz will now walk off and end the fight. It's just that simple.
