I thought that Silva won as well, though draw was certainly a suitable outcome. Each had an argument for a 10-8 round.

Biggie Feet imo but didn't mind the draw. Both guys were hurt bad at various parts of the fight.

I was a little surprised they called it a draw. I agreed with the draw but if it was in the States, it would have certainly been a win for Silva since no one scores 10-8s.

It would have been:

I scored it a draw even before the decision was announced but if you had to lean one way or the other it would probably be towards Big Foot.


Really though, if Big Foot wasn't on PEDs that night, Hunt probably wins outright.

If the ref didn't step in to wipe the blood off of Bigfoot's face in the 5th, Hunt would have got the finish, he had all the momentum and Bigfoot was about to break.

Bigfoot survives 5 rounds with Hunt but gets KO'ed by DC.
Nelson survives 3 rounds with JDS, Reem, Werdum, Cro Cop and other KO artists but gets KO'ed by Hunt

MMA doesn't make sense. To be fair, Bigfoot never seems to get KO'ed clean, you have to immediately follow up with ground and pound to stop him and Hunt didn't do that. He was trying to land the walk off KO.

I would have given Bigfoot rounds 1, 2, 4 and the fight 48-47 but I agree with you Hunt got screwed in the 5th he was pouring it on Bigfoot and the ref inexplicably halts the fight giving Bigfoot time to recover

That's a pretty good point, it's how Mir ended up with the KO as well.
