Hunt is 42, was hand-picked for Lesnar

Get your facts straight.
He had 6 weeks to train for this fight. He was supposed to be on the Madison square garden fight before they removed Mcgegor at last minute.
After a 5 years break, he surely wont be a striking pro and do much more on the feet. Think a little bit.
If you want to deny the fact that Mark Hunt still has a strong chin you are just being delusional. You seen what JDS had to do to be able to put him out.

There was reports of Brock training as far as 4 months back with no testing. And he didn't KO Mark. He was actually turning red and would have prolly lost the last two rounds.

As somene said Mark's slow and not mobile... it was a gimme for Brock after 4 month camp of no testing.

I said from the start Hunt would get worked. I actually thought it would be worse for him.

This right here.

I thought it was pretty likely at some point Brock would get hit and thats our show folks. Coming off a 5 year layoff and fighting a top 10 opponent is a ridiculous task.

If they were to hand pick an opponent it would be someone far less dangerous. You can argue it was a 'winnable' fight for him if he performed but thats it. Certainly not a gimmie.

It's a poor stylistic matchup, Brock has nothing to lose. It would not be painful, 3 rounds of domination like Stipe, JDS or Cain would do to him.

Mark would either put him to sleep quick, or be trapped on the ground.

It was a very fast wrestler vs a slow, aged and battle worn veteran who had a foot reach disadvantage.

I know.We basically have a giant man on steroids who can hold a Avarage one dimensional fighter down for 15 minutes and inflict near 0% damage

Yeah those micro-hammerfists from 1" away were truly devastating.

If it went to 5 RDs Brock would have lost, he was turning red from forcing TDs and doing nothing but holding Hunt down and making him tired from weight.

On paper hunt is one of the worst to handpick stylistically.

Barnett would have been more of a gimme fight with the facade of a threat

Yeah.. Hand picked!?

For years people claimed Brock had a bad chin and was afraid of getting hit.
Take a 5 (FIVE) years leave from MMA and faces one of the hardest hitters in mma.

A hand picked opponent would be some one outside the top 10 or why not Jaideep Singh?

did you really think they were gunna get lesnar in without any wwe promos being involved?

Did you see the last two Hunt fights you retard?

Mark Hunt is one of the most dangerous opponents ever.
His punching power is legendary.

You have to make these threads before the fight. Most people agreed that Hunt was a bad choice for his return fight before the event.

I admitted he took shots better. But he did absolutely 0 on his feet. He has no striking on the feet just pawed at Hunt to keep him away with his foot reach advantage.

in case you mufuckers forgot Werdum (the guy who destroyed Cain) barely got past Hunt.

99% of sherdog was acting like Brock was gonna die.

He wins and its a gimme fight.

Fuck off with that shit

People really expected Brock to get knocked out in 1 min. by Hunt lol.

So the sport doesn't look like sh** when a retired pro wrestler beats a top 10 guy whose kinda a gimme ??

You mean when the former HW CHAMPION who is tied with Cain when it comes to title defenses
wins a fight? No it does not look bad.

Oh the tears.

Werdums not a a good striker so Hunt is stylistically bad for him and Werdum would sub Brock in a minute.

Hunt has had
  • 30 Kickboxing matches
  • 23 MMA fights
  • Tons of damage
  • Is slow
Brock:
  • 9 UFC fight
  • was turning red from gassing and had 4 months to train with no drug testing
First off, I'm sick of all the WWE promos they had during this match. Are we watching MMA or a WWE commercial ???

Second this fight was tailor made to make Brock look good. They put him up again a older fighter with 10 times more damage and fights.

Why didn't they put him up against any of the younger lions or top guys like Travis Browne, Werdum or Rothwell ??

Mark is resilient but he's at the tail's end of his career and Brock still couldn't KO him. I admit he took shots a lot better but it was clear he could do nothing on the feet, just go for TDs. And Hunt is slow.

Stipe would avoid all his TD and KTFO out with speed. Rothwell would destroy him. This was a custom made match and the UFC is ruining its own reputation by giving perfect matches to guys who aren't even in their sport.

Saw this coming lol

But here's something I found interesting:

Wow, that's great.

Brock really has no chance now, unless like I said Hunt's chin is shot... unfortunately chins can go at any time and he's taken miles of punches. He could just lose it any day like happens to many fighters. Though it's been there the last few fights (nobody would have survived jumping into Werdums knee).

That is the only thing I'm worried about in this fight... Hunto's chin still being itself.

I think it's great. It'll make him so much more comfortable when Hunt puts him to sleep and walks away to get him a pillow.

He's a typically bully. Really loud when he's beating smaller weaker guys, but crumbles when he gets pressured back.

Can't wait for Hunt to teach him a lesson about trying to bounce back into MMA.

"Here Comes the Pain" is an appropriate song for his entrance because that's what Hunt will give him.

He'll go down all right, right to sleep as Hunt kindly walks away to grab him a pillow.

He could have Hunt down for an entire round, it aint gonna do nothing to his chin. Hunt'll just KO him in next round then.

I would if I had money. Hunt easy money. There's only one way Brock winning and that's if Hunt's chin has given out suddenly, which can happen from many battles and unfortunately at any time.

That is the only variable in this fight that is unpredictable.

If Hunt n chin are in any shape like he was with Bigfoot, no freaking way Brock even gets close. He could GnP and run the 2" away from your face micro-hammerfists on him for 2.5 RD's and Hunt'd just keep on going till he gets the KTFO.

Hunt will stuff 3 of them just for the fun of it. Then maybe some nice rib shots to keep Brock quiet, I doubt he'll even get to the chance to KO by then Brock will be

Yeah like he did with Cain.

He couldn't keep a 30 lbs lighter Cain or Couture down, he aint keepin' 300 lbs Hunt down for long or stopping him from moving or attempting submissions, Blue Belt vs Brown Belt (Hunt)

His last 3 fighter the bull rush to TD was seen miles away and easily stuffed.

It don't matter if he is or isn't roiding...

Hunt will KTFO either way

BTW what was it Brock said about race in his post fight speech ?

Was it Black and White we all need to come together or something like that ??

I admitted he took shots better. But he did absolutely 0 on his feet. He has no striking on the feet just pawed at Hunt to keep him away with his foot reach advantage.

What does that have to do with my response to your post, saying that its embarrassing that the former HW champ won a fight?

Was it embarrassing to you when Randy came to HW after retirement and won the belt from Timmah?

I never seen these supposed reports even if I google it. On the other hand, I see from a lot of sources that he had only 6 weeks camp.
Secondly, he was at WWE if you go back to 2-3 months. So how in hell would he be at a training camp when he is working for WWE?? Stop making stuff up just because you hate him and pro wrestling seriously...

On top of that, your expectation is that a 4 months training camp can make a freaking wrestler a KO artist against HUNT? The same Hunt, JDS couldnt KO with his hands. Are you serious? Stop being dishonest.
