The companies that would be interested in sponsoring him are likely low tier without enough money to make it worth it for him. The lucrative sponsors probably have no interest in associating their brand with someone like Hunt.

It's the same issue Roy Nelson has complained about. Guys like Nelson and Hunt - despite their relative popularity - are not people that high paying brands want to associate their name with.

They would have a negative effect on image...despite the 'respect' that some demographics have for these slugfest type chubby.dudes.

Some fighters won't take low rent sponsors like Uncle Lou's Crap Shack for 2 K when they are getting paid six digits. If someone offers six digits they will take it. And maybe he doesn't have the management structure in place to look for those deals.
