There's no way Brock Lesnar's below average amatuer boxing level will be able to take on Mark Hunt's striking. The ONLY chance Lesnar has is his takedown, if that takedown gets defended (which I'm sure it will, because Hunt has shown signs of great TDD which is all he needs to work on against Lesnar "LITERALLY") Hunt is on another level striking wise and if he defends that takedown Lesnar is going down 1st round, BUMP when im RIGHT! It's a terrible matchup for Brock. Hunt is the one guy who can match Brock's insane strength AND he's an elite striker.

That said he won't pose much sub threat (despite his nearly catching of fedor), so Lesnar knows all he has to work on is takedowns, which is something he is likely very used to doing.

Still, you have to feel for Brock, for his level of experience he gets the most insane match ups.

That's a pretty big "only". Lesnar's wrestling is certainly equal to Hunt's striking, so it's really just a matter of who gets off first.

There probably isn't a guy on the planet that a fully healthy Lesnar can not take down what with his size and wrestling skills. It would be suicide for him to trade punches with Hunt, but if he gets him on the ground there is no way Hunt can get him off of him. Lesnar will be 280 pounds of muscle that night. If he can't get him on the ground it will be a short night for him.

Ideal situation?
Mark Hunt gets taken down, Brock looks awesome, controls him, hammerfists away, beating the shit out of Hunt. Hunt survives, ciontinues to fight, continues to move and finds away to get up and standing again. Brock shoots again but Hunt is ready. Now Brock is worn down and Hunt begins to footwork and te heavy hands. Overhand right throws Brock into the cage, Hunt throws a hook and walk off KO's Brock and wins PotN.
