Hung Gar Kung Fu vs Tae Kwon Do in a cage match

I'm not sure what this video is supposed to show us.

I'm not familiar with hung gar but looked more like street brawling. The TKD guy started out with a typical TKD style and then after a few shots and some sloppy clinch work turned into a gassed street brawler.

Apparently, the Kung Fu practitioner is also the first Filipino to fight in the UFC

Oh, and Bruce Leroy used to officiate fights in the UFC :D

Funny...doesn't look any different to me than some UFC fights I've seen.

Holy shit! You found Onassis' russian fight! Good times.

I've met him a few times, my dad used to do Taijiquan with him, he's as legit as TMA guys get and he and Cung Le used to train gongfu together in California (they actually have a web series of goofball martial arts comedy videos floating around from the late 90s).

Most of his grappling experience was from judo but his striking is all hung gar.

He went 2-1 as a pro and the loss was to a heavyweight (he's 170ish)

It seems like every time I see a video of a kung fu person going full speed, full contact in a fight it resembles kung fu very little to me. Maybe its because I am not trained in kung fu? Like the same way someone who knows nothing about grappling looks at a BJJ fight and goes "those are just two guys rolling around!"

3 min and 19 sec of my life have been wasted.
