Not here to make excuses, Nate was simply the better fighter. Submission.gifs or not, dictating yourself as a fan shouldn't come from obsessing over if someone is invincible, but rather liking what they do/ who they are. I stated a long time ago that even when Conor suffered his first loss I would still view him as one of the greatest fighters of all time. I wanted Conor to win, he did not. At the end of the day, Conor McGregor had the balls to do what almost any person in his shoes would never have done, name to me how many fighters with as much as Conor had riding on would go on and take a bigger replacement fighter. Not only that, he gave an impressive performance.

Again, no excuses, just respect. Allow the history-post hunting reply days to begin.

Stop parroting him. Talking himself up and peacocking is not humble.

Got rocked by feather fists.

The guy was done in the 1st

Once Conor was Reachin', Diaz's was Teachin'

I don't really care. Tate diaz parlay. I'm a happy camper

yep. Now lets see if the mcnuthuggers will be as classy as Connor was.

I really wanted Diaz to walk up and hand McGregor a pamphlet for jiu jitsu on weekends

Conor is illiterate on the ground. He belongs nowhere on the greatest of all times. He was prepared to face RDA, in shape, and got subbed by out-of-shape Nate. That's not GOAT material.

And there is nothing humble about him.

He seriously need a better BJJ coach and more time training it. His movement is quite poor on the ground, for the master of human movement.

Not humble: he used the cocky approach, now shertards will have to take it.

Hahahahahahaha even in defeat Conor trolls have no personality as usual.

Just save face and leave our sport m8, you made fools of yourselves for over a year and now you want to come across as genuine MMA fans???

You can't be taken serious around here anymore m8.

Yeah, jumping on the cage and miming stacks of cash screams humility. He was surprisingly gracious in defeat though, but it's hard not to be when you get choked out after turning into the "panic grappler" he predicted Nate would become.

Good post TS.

Connor got schooled after a good first, glad he took the loss like a man. Hopefully he learns from this loss and comes back stronger for it.

Conor looked very ordinary tonight. He seemed special, like an Anderson Silva type, the kind of guy with an aura. He put himself on a pedestal, acting like weight didn't matter, only to be beaten by a good-not-great fighter who took the fight on 11 days notice. I respect Conor's ambition and what he has done for the public interest in MMA, but this is a very embarrassing moment for him after all the smack talk and ego stroking. The humility card now is a good PR move, but it seems hollow after his pre-fight antics.

Yep. Yep.

First of all, you just made excuses. Nate and Conor were BOTH LW fighters in this fight. They didn't go through a weight cut but neither was anywhere close to being a legit WW come fight night. Conor was 100% ready for this and not fighting a heavier guy at all.

Second, Conor has not been humble in victory. Shaking hands and giving props in the octagon, only to continue to disrespect every single fighter on the roster about 24 hrs later is not humility. Now is the time to show real humility.

When Goldberg said that... I was walking into another room and turned my head walked right into the frame.
