Humans have done nothing that we predicted we would in the 80s

We still don't even have Plasma rifles in the 40 watt range

Well that is a result of the timeline being changed with the release of the Terminator movies.

James Cameron was an inside agent of the machines, and thus released a series of documentary information depicting all the weaknesses of skynet's most deadly models.

Skynet having the benefit of this knowledge now knows that once it invents plasma rifles in the 40 watt range it will make their eventual terminator units much more vulnerable to the human resistance.

Therefore it has delayed the research and development of such powerful handheld weapons to increase the effectiveness of its terminator units when judgement day happens on 4 June 2023 at 1413 hours

There will never be flying cars, ever. The concept is cool, but practically speaking it's just too dangerous. Only way it happens is if they get them to the point where:

1. They're 100% self-automated, because average people suck at driving and they only have to worry about driving forward and back and side to side. Adding a z-axis for them to worry about would be a fucking catastrophe. No way could you allow your typical dumb shits the power of flight.

2. 99.9999999% non-failure rate for all onboard systems. Right now if a car breaks down it just will be stuck on the side of the road. But flying cars would drop out of the fucking sky if they broke down. Another fucking catastrophe.

........................dreamers hoping some tech nerds would come up with the smarts to make it reality, instead everybody is dumb and replaying every single thing over with a sequel. You have to work with talent in order to make things happen not just dream.
