Huge fight just announced for the budapest card..im personally excited for this fight, really good match making with this fight two experienced mma greats on a quest to revitalize there careers in bellator ..

Whats your prediction?
 
At no point in history was this ever a huge fight.
 
my prediction is that benson might actually get a stoppage, maybe second round. otherwise a decision is likely which just hurts both fighters stock, both need to fight for their careers here

Ofcourse it is , any crossroad fight is huge..this will tell us alot about both fighters and there futures with bellator...a lose for henderson here and it will prove forever more that the ufc was right to cut him/ let him go and if huerta wins it a huge feather in his cap and a potential birth and a new run at a North american MMA promotion title..or ufc redemption if he can pull off some big wins in bellator after henderson

Benson's future is retirement. He's made no secret about this.

Huerta should have retired after getting soccer kicked.
 
I am rooting for Huerta and am actually pretty excited for this. Love these off the wall matchups I would never think of making, this is fun! War Huerta!!
 
forget Huerta, Bellator actually have pretty decent kickboxing card that night - Raymond Daniels, Alexey Ignashov, Jorina Baars are fighting. i kind of looking forward to it.

I feel like that's the auto answer given benson henderson career..but i feel like he has bit of chip on his shoulder in bellator seems more willing to just fight could make for fireworks or a stoppage with huerta aggressive style

Huerta hasn't had fight that mattered in years....The dude is 4-8 since 2008 and 2012 to now, only the most hardcore fans would even recognize a name that he has fought.

Ben Henderson....20-7 and has held multiple belts and his list of fighters he fought is the who, who of 155ers in the last decade.

Biggest victory Roger has ever had is his pic on the front of Sport Illustrated.


If Ben drops this fight its time to retire plain and simple.

Ok but that was then and this is now...its a big fight becuase of were they both are career wise..henderson has not looked his best in bellator so far, and huerta is getting a chance a big time north American promotion on a one fight contract in which his performance agaisnt henderson will set the tone for the rest of the time ..thats hunger

Interesting fight. Both guys are on the downslope of their careers, but are both game enough to hopefully pilut on a good fight. I’m also happy that it’s not another rematch, and that Bendo is not clogging up the title picture.
