From today's show recap:

Howard said there's a documentary about Connor McGregor that's really good. Howard said he actually made him happy. He said he goes and fights people and he has such a great attitude.
He said he wanted to be like him and laugh more. He said the guy has such a good attitude. He said he's an MMA fighter and he's just enjoying life.
Robin said he would have stayed at the party longer than Howard.
Howard said he is a happy go lucky guy.
Gary said he looks like a dick a lot when he sees him. Howard said he's really not. He said he didn't come off that way to him. He said he thinks he trains and plays hard and he's a happy dude.
Robin said it was interesting when he fought Mayweather. Robin said they embraced each other at the end of that fight. Howard said they have to pretend to hate each other.
Sal said that Mayweather says he was carrying McGregor during that fight. Howard said he doesn't think so.

Yes the recap got his name wrong lol

Howard is cradling that Mcgregor nutsack while stroking the pipe with the other hand.

Do you guys think McGregor will create a documentary on how he ducked Khabib and Tony? I'd buy that

It actually is a good documentary. It starts right when he got signed and was living with his mom. You can hate on the guy all you want, but he put in a ton of work to get where he is and has had nothing but fun while accomplishing all of his goals and dreams.

It’s always amusing when people who don’t know about MMA (combat sports) talk about it. Especially the media.

Anytime a show on ESPN talks about MMA I have to tune in to hear it.

Agreed, it is such a unique sport

*Human cock fighting

bunch of blowhards

Howard's knowledge of combat sports couldn't fill a thimble.

Floyd is a complete piece of shit, but he clearly carried McGregor just as many thought he would.

Conor's story is truly inspiring, but it's a shame he's become such a turd.

The mainstream loves McGregor, that's why hes the cash cow!

There is no way Howard watched MayMac, he just made believe he did

The only MMA fan there is Brent & he seemed to stop following it
Artie thought it was 'gay" when he was on
The only fighters I know that were guest were Tito (mainly bc of Jenna), RR & Faber did a quick walk on when WEC was a sponsor

Hit em with the Hein!

When Conor started training MMA, he was at a TWO, now he is at a NOINE
He might have lost a belt, but he gained a title
Now I wonder if he is thinking about ... M ... M ... M ... marriage

The only thing that can stop Conor now is if he gets sucked into the Benjy vortex.

I was just thinking (dangerous)
Usually when Stern talks about something/someone out of nowhere & watches something he normally wouldn't, it means the subject will be on the show
watch Conor goes on this month
Might be why Stern said he saw the fight too

Howard does humanize people... if Conor's PR decides his character has gotten out of control and he needs some humanization, Howard would be a good place to do it. There would not be any in-depth MMA questions since Howard, Robin and Fred are very casual fans at best.

I agree, Stern has become a great interviewer.
The show is not edgy anymore but its good for what you described.

It just came out of nowhere that he would watch a docu on Conor.
It has to be in play

Stern usually has a good take on things he knows nothing about because he's made a fortune out of reading how people behave. I'll try to find what he said (haven't been listening to the show in years).
