How would you react if the UFC announces Gustaffson-Cormier over the next few days?

I feel like this is something that could happen because I don't imagine Lorenzo would like being pushed around by a fighter. It undermines the UFC.

To deal with this they strip Jones of the title and have Cormier-Gustaffson fight for it on the late August, early September date. Most fans and media seem to hate Jones anyways so I don't see much sympathy for him even if he is stripped of the title.

I truly see Jones meeting with Lorenzo & Dana on Thursday going badly and this being a scenario that is more likely to happen than people think.

 

Who cares. Either way we get 2 great fights between these 3 guys. 4 if you count the one we already have. So which 2 it is and in what order doesnt really matter to me.

 

As a Jones fan I would be really disappointed. Jones vs Gus/Cormier than Jones vs Cormier/Gus is the only option. He needs to fight them both one after the other. If he loses to one then LHW is more exciting. If he beats both then he is cleary the GOAT at LHW and needs to move to HW

Dana and Lorenzo run the company they need to be telling Jones who is fighting and not the other way around.

There is no big rush on this issue. I think if the UFC cannot strike a deal with Jones about his next fight, they will table it for a few weeks.

 

I will be upset, personally. I think JJ should fight Gus, not Cormier. Although I think DC has a bigger chance of winning, I think JJ is being a... must not fighter bash... about the entire situation

 

I'd be fine with it if they were fighting for the title after stripping it from Jon Jones.

yea strip the #1p4p best fighter in the world for wanting to fight the only legitimate contender in the division he has not already beaten before starts handing out rematches. Im sure that will go over well for them.

 

[email protected] the sad usage of the race card. Give it a break already. Most people dislike Jones because he's a dirty fighter and he continually pulls shit like this. The guy is acting like a spoiled brat. I remember a time when it was considered a good trait in a prizefighter to be one of the "anyone, anywhere, anytime" type of fighters. Jones obviously doesn't have that sort of mentality.

 

Fine by me. I just want so see some combo of the three fight. Just name two and make it happen
