How would you feel if you government started mistreating refugees ?

Probably wont happen in out lifetime but the politics in the world changes quite alot.as a scenario what if governments realized mass imigration was a big problem and this led to a massive culture shift.popular far right partys sprung up and won elections all over Europe etc.
next instead of the people now in charge there were some nationalistic people in charge.instead of the refugee having more rights than the citizen of the country they have invaded they now have less.
then instead of letting these people into your country your government turns them away.the ones who live in your borders start to lose rights.the person who pays the taxes now has the rights for jobs housing etc.
i know it sounds a bit right wing but would you welcome these moves or would you protest to open the borders again ?

It would be foolish to believe that there will never be a humanitarian crisis in the US. That alone should at least put a floor on how poorly you are willing to treat refugees.

Only giving them a 4 bedroom house, just one car and a mere 1000 euros a week in state benefits. Oh the humanity.

Well, if crimes are being committed against humanity I might find myself being tragically triggered. Calls for revolution*, I'd say.

*I assume revolution means "pants down round your knees, and bend at 90 degrees for ease of insertion" right?
