He will fight Aziz Kharaghlou and Aziz he is roided as hell right now. He looks like monster and he is knocking evrybody out but pick is Mamed by sub.

He beat many black belts on the ground and he showed this by 17 wins by sub. in his 31 wins.

Very good fighter.


Also why left Poland if he is getting much more money here than he would get in UFC. Also he would risk getting beat up and losing his aura. I understand his move, that was pure business. Also this reebok deal dont make fighters so happy about going to the UFC if they have their own sponsors that pay them well and Mamed have them soooo many here.

I watched every KSW and I'm from Poland so i know what I'm talking about.

I had occasion to train at the same gym Mamed was (and still is) training. Small gym in Olsztyn, Poland.
It was at the beggining of his career and his big streak (his fourth and fifth fight of career).

But to the point. I think that Mameds big disadventage is UFC would be - his cardio, that does not look great (barely enought for 3 round fights - for 5 rounds... look second jorge santiago fight).
and his wrestling... or maybe the way he fights on the ground. He doesnt give much of a fuck while going for subs, often giving good position to his opponents.
One of his tricks is going for leglock while being held by his opponent - look guida fight.
It may get him greats subs, but if hell do it with ufc wrestlers he may just loose decision after decision becouse they wont do anything except taking him down and not getting submited.
Other than that... He wont get subbed too, nor koed, and he can ko and submit someone. So... with favorable matchups top10 easily, with bad - wrestler matcups... top 15
