The guy is 11-0 and 6'6 with a slick ground game and nice kicks. Not to mention he has barely been out the first round. I would love to see him vs JJ since JJ seems to struggle with taller fighters.

If his contract were to come up I think the UFC probably would go after him. That's the stumbling block for UFC in signing any Bellator fighter.

I think he'd be competitive with the top 10 but he wouldn't beat the big 4.

Top 10, wouldn't beat the top 4. Champions clause, same reason they won't go after Koreshkov.

He got kinda beat up by Tito before the submission though.

You know, just saying..

:>

I feel like he would beat
Mostly everyone
Including Luke but not Chris
Though Luke beats Chris every time

He's one of the few guys outside of the UFC who anti-Zuffa fans bang on about, who I think would do VERY well in the UFC. I think he'd be a stylistic nightmare for many top guys, over there.

I'm not quite convinced that he could handle the top pressure of some of the big wrestlers in the 205 division as someone pointed out Tito who is not usually known for his aggression current day had some success working his GnP before being submitted. Then again Tito is no submission slouch ether so tough to say.

I would really like to see Liam vs Bader if he were to sign.

What would do to promote the idea that the UFC has all the good fighters if a Bellator fighter came here and killed their most dominant champion? Sure they might have another top guy, but now people are going to be turning on Bellator to see who the next top guy is.

Tito has mostly held his own with everyone he's fought, even through his years long losing streak. No shame in how that fight played out, imo.

I just don't see him throwing up a triangle on almost anyone in the top 10. If they stand with him then it's anybody's ball game. I see him getting wrestled or even like keylocked by a good top position grappler. He wouldn't lose to lower tier guys but I think he is going to get beat by Phil Davis and alot of people will see him in a different light.

This thread should end easy. The answers are "he'd do well" and "he is currently contracted with Bellator."

Fairly good assessment. He gives up takedowns to easily and is a little too comfortable accepting his back being on the mat.

If he can beat guys like King Mo or Phil Davis and handle their wrestling in some capacity I'd be more convinced. Whether that's stuffing a TD or two, getting back up, just overall giving more resistance. I don't think he'd crack the top 5 right now.

Love watching him fight, definitely one of the most exciting guys in the division.

would definitly win more than he would lose.

Jon Jones struggles against taller fighter(s) based on one fight?

lol

Liam seems happy in Bellator since he does all the fanfest stuff and helped open up that UK market for them. Gotta see how he does against Davis/Mo winner, would be top 5 with a win. Is he top 10? Absolutely.

Because he's under contract.

He'd be top 10 and we'll see how he does vs Mo/Davis winner, if he beats them then he's top 5-6 LHW in the world so he'd be right up there.

Let's see him fight David, Mo or even Rampage first.

Newton and Tito took him down with ease...so a wrestler with good top control/GnP and decent sub defense may be a nightmare for him. We'll see. I think a prime Tito would've beaten him FWIW.
