How would Jones have done against these former LHW Champs?

Randy Couture.
Chuck Liddell.
Forrest Griffin.
Tito Ortiz.
All in their primes. Do they even stand a chance?

 

No. Jones eats them all. Plain and simple. Jones is the biggest waste of talent because of his personal life. There's no doubt in my mind he's one of the best to ever compete

Lol, Jones could take a 3 v 1 and he'd still come out on top, Forrest would run from the cage while Chuck gets KTFO, cuz thats what Chuck does best and Randy is busy doing the Cha Cha.

 

I think he could defeat all three possibly back 2 back.

 

Those would all be very interesting fights. Forrest was afraid of him though. At least I think so, haha.

Without PEDs? Its hard to tell, we have to see Jones fighting without PEDs once to see if he is a top5-top10 level fighter or not.

 

I think beat Liddell () and Forrest. Randy might be able to grind him out. But really good chance he could handily beat all three.

Forrest might be killed in such a fight - especially if it was Young-Pre Coke-Pre Fellon Jon Jones who liked to use those hellbows...

I think Jones is one of the best fighters ever.

But, with stricter rules on eye pokes, I don't think he'd be as good. Jones pawing his hand out like he does is impenetrable as a defence.

 

Realistically, Jones probably beats them all. But the fanboy in me gives prime Chuck a solid chance. Jones doesn't hurt people with counter punches, and that was Chuck's biggest weakness towards the end. Prime Chuck knocks him the fuck out. Go ahead and disagree with me, and make perfectly logical reasons why I am wrong. I don't care. I'm a Liddell hugger and take him at his prime vs. Jones.

 

Chuck in his prime had the tools to KO anyone.

 

Prime Randy has a chance purely based on pressure and grinding, like Cormier did mildly succesfull. Randy had a thing for beating bigger, taller fighters too.

Chuck will be stuck on the outside, much like Rashad, Shogun and Rampage were when they faught Jones. Forest.. Well.. Jones is basically the worst matchup that guy could get.

 

He wrecks them all. I don't think Randy beats Jones in the clinch.

There's a video clip of him and Bonnar joking that they are the two guys who could take Jones out. Then they add that they would need to double team him with Forrest distracting Jones and Bonnar putting in a RNC.

 

I remember when chuck thought he was the man, went to pride, then rampage humbled him, then dana and chuck came back to america. sorry but jones destroys chuck. chuck was a beast dont get me wrong, but jones is on another level.

 

But what if you take PEDs from Jones? How do you know what his level as a clean fighter would be? It is extremely likely you have never seen it.
