After seeing his fights against Santos and Reyes, I think Jon moved up to HW to make mega bucks at just the right time. Stipe and Francis might be tougher fights but if he loses them at least he can blame it on moving up.

Probably loses. He semi-retired for a reason. One-legged Marreta nearly won, while at the same time healthy Marreta is on a two fight skid. Jan just destroyed Reyes, the other guy that nearly beat Jones.

He knew he was going to lose soon and that's why he "moved" to HW.

It would be an interesting clash for sure. I think Jon would edge it out but its also time to start giving Jan the credit he deserves. Jan cannot be overlooked and has earned the respect.

Jones would win Jan gets tired and jones doesmt. Jones keeps Jan away with his usual low kicks and wins the grappling exchanges.

Jones always finds a way to win.

If Jones took the fight seriously, he would beat Jan with ease like he did against Smith and Gustafsson 2.

If he didn't take the fight seriously, it would be a close fight like Reyes, Santos, and Gustafsson 1.

I'd like to see that fight, but Jones ain't getting pushed around and grappled like that against Jan, Jones would win the grappling exchanges or at the very least it would be equal

i d favor jan in all of his figths had my doubs in the anderson one but i d still know he would win but he just had nothing on bones he has power but not as mutch as rampage or santos he s not as fast he has decent wrestling but gus man handled him no one at 205 except maybe jiri has what it takes to beat jones

btw, did Jones tweeted something after tonight's fight?

Jones win via relentless pressure to decision.

What reason? You do realize he is fighting the winner of Stipe vs Ngannou and it will get announced that fight?

Imaging calling it ducking when he’s facing the baddest men in the world.

I'll believe Jones is fighting at HW when he steps his foot in the octagon. He's been teasing his HW UFC debut for more than half a decade and nothing came to fruition.

I personally don't believe Jones will fight Ngannou.
